![]() ![]() Omelet was good as ever but the surrounding things were sparse and not refilled. We went down about 10:15 and got a half cup of coffee and was told they were making no more.juice was shut off as well, but got it turned back on so we could at least have juice. We do understand there needs to be a cut off point but after having stayed at Embassies all around the country, this seemed very harsh. Next morning breakfast please note that this Embassy closes up breakfast immediately at the stroke of 10:30 on the weekend. huh!! The shuttle driver was very personable and prompt and probably was the best part of the experience. He was attentive though and thought was fine until about an hour someone walked up and ordered a vodka martini with three olives and was immediately.all we said to each was. The bartender told us he couldn't make martini's which seemed a tad odd since we've had them before. No attempt was made to refill anything but the salsa near the end of the Happy Hour. We got down to the Happy Hour about a half hour in and all that was there was salsa and chips and maybe two pieces of cheese. Went down to happy hour and although i know they are complimentary, the brand boasts itself on the Happy Hour and Full Breakfast. Check in was fine and the room is always clean and nice. Embassy Suites are my favorite hotel but this year was just kinda blah. We decided to go back again this year just to get away and use the shuttle to Easton for dinner. We had stayed at the Embassy for our anniversary in 2013 and it was a fabulous experience. I WILL NEVER TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN, IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES. Thank God, everything else worked out and i caught my plane. My sister tried and at first couldn't get an answer either, finally we got help and even then the shuttle was late leaving. At about 3:45 I called the front desk and it rang and rang and rang, no answer, i tried several times then woke my sister for assistance. ![]() which is when they told us the shuttle begins. But the worst is yet to come, when I checked in we told them I would need help with bags at 3:45 and the shuttle at 4 a.m. My sister finally saw a man delivering a pizza and stopped him and asked for a menu, otherwise we would have gone without anything for dinner. I headed for the restaurant and saw no one anywhere and thought it was closed. It was dark and rainy and so we decided to go get snacks for the night, but there was no snack machine on our floor, we then went to the "store" by check-in & out and couldn't find anything. However there was nothing except ice on our floor. We finally get to the third floor the person pointed out the snack and drink machine on each floor. When we got there, we had to ask for assistance with our bags, I had 3 large and 1 small and I am disabled. That way I could use the shuttle for me to reach the airport and my sister could sleep in before returning to her town and her shift for that day. I was visiting family in a nearby town and since I needed to be at the airport at 4 a.m., we decided to go into Columbus the night before. ![]()
